One Piece (ワンピース, Wanpīsu?) is a manga and anime series created by artist Eiichiro Oda. One Piece focuses on a ragtag crew of pirates led by Captain Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy's greatest ambition is to obtain the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, and become Pirate King.
The manga began its serial run in 1997 issue #34 of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, while the anime adaptation produced by Toei Animation premiered on Fuji TV on 1999. Eiichiro Oda originally planned One Piece to last five years,[1] and he had already planned out the ending; however, the story has continued far beyond his expectations, and its popularity has swelled to enormous proportions.
One Piece is the fourth highest selling manga in the history of Weekly Shonen Jump,[2] and is currently Japan's most popular and all-time third-best-selling Shōnen Jump title. Volume 24 of the One Piece manga was the highest selling Japanese novel of all time, prior to the publication of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. |

I couldnt fit both group names into the title. ::shakes fist::
Shiney sparkle pirates dancing to the song Jungle Fever!
A cosplay skit that was created and directed by me.
We all joked about doing a Myu inspired skit but then I made up a dance and bugged my friends to join. We all had tons of fun and won "Best in Show."
Personally I wasnt sure how the audience would like the skit. I love the positive reaction I got and plan to make another skit.... someday.

Ah yes and I have to add. Im the Nami in the skit and YES Im aware Im fat.. you can all stop beating that dead horse.

Extra, extra notes: Yes all the cosplayers are GIRLS except Ussop. YES Chopper does have horns.. you just cant see them because they were LCD lights and didnt show up well from backstage. YES the costumes were shiney on PURPOSE. YES that is Pandaman in the background with the green shirt and heart nipples. |

Ener: Wild Fire (One Piece AMV) |
| For my first AMV attempt I wanted to do something fast-paced, and Ener is my favourite One Piece villain. Theres also a lot of Nami and Luffy in this (the second half tells a story if you look).
Coordination is very important to me, so I paid a lot of attention choreographing the action with beats, rhythm and lyrics. As soon as the DVD-ripped raws for Skypiea are out I intend to get rid of the subtitles.
Suggestions on any other improvements that can be made are welcome. |
